Philadelphia ranks at the bottom among large American cities in reading proficiency; according to recent federal data, roughly 22% of Philadelphians aged 16 and older lack the most basic literacy skills. Furthermore, 52% of Philadelphia adults are functionally illiterate, and by 2030, an estimated 39% of the city's population will lack the skills needed to maintain steady employment. The connection is undeniable: limited access to quality education fuels cycles of poverty.

That’s why we’ve launched a mission-driven initiative. By brewing fresh coffee and dedicating volunteer efforts, we channel 100% of our profits directly into a scholarship fund.
